I think you have to check if you get the GPS information. Otherwise it is going to 0,0 that is not the location of your map.

Hi Robby,

I'm from the Netherlands

1 - ?
2 - As big as you wish, to big you reduce speed. You have to ask yourself how much time will take a scenario.
3 - ?
4 - Yes, but takes some effort
5 - https://www.bridgecommand.co.uk/Documentation
6 - Of course we can

Best regards,
Guido

I did send Henrik some stuff to try, another thing could be the height file I think. Most of the Dutch data I have, the height data around bridges is not reliable.

I'm going to give it a try ;-)

As you described with https://gamepad-tester.com you could see what happens when you press a button. This was what happens when you press the "red" buttons.

I would like to map the next settings to it:
joystick_button_look_left = "AXIS 9, 0.71429"
joystick_button_look_right = "AXIS 9, -0.42857"
joystick_button_look_up = "AXIS 9, -1.00000"
joystick_button_look_down = "AXIS 9, 0.14286"

I'm not familiar with programming in c++. I'm more familiar with c#. This is a good reason to learn ;-)

Great tool!
The red buttons use "AXIS 9"
Default value: 3.28571
Left: 0.71429
Right: -0.42857
Up: -1.00000
Down: 0.14286
How to configure in the ini-files?

In BC 5.7 VRinsight is working great! How to address the buttons I made red? There is no number available.

Bridge Command General Support / Re: 1-3 FPS screen refresh rate
« on: December 24, 2021, 08:11:39 AM »
I think I found the reason. In a way I'm lazy. I created a buoy file with over 18.000 items. The complete range of Dutch markers/buoys. When I made a smaller file with just 250 buoys I got about 25FPS instead of 1-3.

My problem with the radar running slow was also solved.

I'm running version 5.6.1

I send you an e-mail with my data.

Bridge Command General Support / 1-3 FPS screen refresh rate
« on: December 22, 2021, 01:31:18 PM »
The refreshrate of the monitor is very slow, just 1-3 FPS

The PC configuration
- HP Z4
- Processor I9-10900X  3.7GHz
- Memory 96GB
- Harddisk 1 TB 970EVO Plus
- Video Geforce 2080T

When running BC
- Use of CPU 4%
- Use of memory 695 MB
- Use of Harddisk 0%
- Use of GPU 6%
- Use of network 0%

Is there a way to speed-up the refreshrate?

Feature requests & suggestions / Suggestion- SQL Database

At this point I'm filling a lot of ini-files. It would be great to have a MySQL or MS-SQL Express database. At this point I use it in a way. I create scripts to build ini-files from the tables.
