Title: New World
Post by: hhandresen on March 31, 2021, 04:20:34 PM
Hi,

I simply cannot find anywhere to download maps with heights on to be used in BC.

Any clue where / how to download new Worlds ?

Of cause I had read the manual  ;D

Best regards Henrik Aaen Andresen

Hi, can I check if you are looking for world models that have already been created, or source data to build your own area?

Hi,

I'm building my own World - and I actually got something to work here in Denmark. :D

But if any other Worlds available I'm also interested.

What about bridges ?

If I got a bridge today, it shows up as a peace of land between the to islands ?

Any clue on this ?

As you've seen, the heightmap does not allow for 'bridge' features.

But if you have a 3d model of the bridge (or can make one), you can add this in your user directory in Models\LandObject\ObjectName (user directory is normally %appdata%\Bridge Command\5.6\, so this would be %appdata%\Bridge Command\5.6\Models\LandObject\ObjectName). Then you can load this into your world model in the same way as any other 'land object'.
